Amy Bailey, Owner, Unusually Unusual Consulting
Amy Bailey founded Unusually Unusual Consulting, an event production and marketing consulting company. Having worked in many aspects of the business, Amy brings a comprehensive knowledge of the industry landscape and communications outreach to provide targeted and effective results. Previously, Amy served as senior vice president of marketing at Telarus, the largest privately-held Technology Solutions Brokerage, for seven years. Before that, she served as both channel manager and VP of marketing for VXSuite, a network monitoring software. Amy is passionate about empowering women in business and enjoys mentoring students and young professionals. She is a current board member for Channel Futures, and previously served as president of the Alliance of Channel Women and held positions as chair of the sponsorship and education committees. She also served as a board member of Xposure IDC. She was named a Telarus MVP for her work in pivoting the entire marketing department in 2020. Amy is a San Diego State University graduate with a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Liberal Arts. While at SDSU, she also was Associated Students' president. She enjoys knitting, hiking, country music, and spending time on the water.
