Many communications and technology professionals dream about starting their own business to sell telecommunications services. But putting it all on the line takes courage, deep pockets, support from an expert network and, most of all, perseverance. Whether a road warrior salesperson or a desk jockey, everyone wonders at some point what it would be like to be their own boss. In this session, attendees will hear from those who did it, who had the courage to take the plunge and found their own businesses. The twist here is that this panel features only women entrepreneurs who were brave enough to start their own firms — firms that have become some of the most successful technology advisor organizations in the world. They built sophisticated businesses and forged deep relationships with their clients. Some have even cashed out by selling their agencies. Now they’re here to share lessons learned, advice on entrepreneurship, why they chose to leave the vendor world and how they succeeded as a partner.
